This week, new banners went up along streets in downtown Hamilton. Hamilton school board member (and a Hamilton school parent) Rebecca Stamp and her staff at Catalyst Physical Therapy got together with the Hamilton School District, the Hamilton Downtown Association and Allegra Printing for the signs and banners highlighting the Class of 2020 with student photos on the banners (see below). It's a good reason to take a stroll down Main Street and find the photo of your favorite graduate. The plan includes two large 18-by-24 banners that are destined for the Hamilton High School building.

Each Bitterroot Valley School is coming up with unique ways to hold graduation ceremonies during the COVID-19 threat. Hamilton's graduation day is March 31 at 3:30 p.m. Another Hamilton school board meeting is scheduled for ceremony details. Elsewhere, the final plans may include ideas such as graduates in cars in Stevensville and various streaming broadcasts at other schools. School boards are also hoping Montana "Stay At Home" rules will move to less restrictions by the time graduation dates arrive. Hamilton Downtown Association Director Claire Kemp remarked, "To all of it I say 'Awesome, let's do it'!"
