Drivers Gets Buried in Tumbleweed Avalanche
We are no strangers to high winds here in our state. Sometimes it can be downright dangerous to drive, especially with gust up to 60 and 70 mph. But, as comedian Ron White says, "It's not THAT the wind was blowing. It's WHAT the wind was blowing."
Just recently, Washington state experienced some high winds. With those winds came an unstoppable horde of tumbleweeds. The weeds completely clogged a rural highway with an avalanche of weeds up to 30 feet high. It took nearly 10 hours to clear everything.
