As a long time fan of Eagles Of Death Metal, this was really difficult to watch and take in. You can clearly see that poor Jesse Hughes has survivors remorse, and possibly PTSD, and seeing him breakdown while recalling leaving his friends and band mates while he fled to find his girlfriend is absolutely heart wrenching.

And the sound guy talking about how the crowd came toward him to hide under his console, how they waited for the terrorists to reload so they could run, and how he got a victim to safety is really mortifying.

Jesse also shares that he did find his girlfriend Tuesday and she was safe. But he did encounter one of the attackers face to face, and only survived because the terrorist's gun hit the railing of the door, giving him a chance to escape.

Plus, how band members used a champagne bottle, meant for post concert celebration, for protection. And how the attackers killed every person hiding in the dressing room, except for one, who was hiding under Jesse's leather jacket.

However, it is really inspiring to hear them talk about their love for their fans, for rock n' roll and how they will persevere. Watch the video to find out how you can help by downloading Eagles Of Death Metal's cover of Duran Duran's "Save A Prayer" or by doing your own cover of "Love You All The Time" from their 'Zipper Down' album.

Peace, love, death metal.
