Easy and Delicious Safe to Eat Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Recipe
I grew up eating homemade chocolate chip cookies at least once a week. They were a staple in our house. There was nothing quite like the smell of cookies baking when I came home from school. Although piping hot chocolate chip cookies are very tempting, I enjoyed the cookies much more before they were cooked. Chocolate chip cookie dough is quite possibly the best raw food ever.
My mom would usually let us eat a spoonful or two before hollering at us that there wasn’t going to be any left for cookies. However, my grandma was convinced we were all going to be stricken with salmonella poisoning due to the raw eggs. So when I stumbled across this recipe on Pinterest, I was relieved to finally not have to worry about getting sick from delicious cookie dough.
Easy Edible Chocolate Cookie Dough Recipe
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soft butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Beat the butter and the sugar in a mixer on high until smooth. Put mixer on low, then add vanilla and milk. With the mixer still on low, add the rest of the ingredients. Let the dough sit in the fridge before eating so it firms to the right consistency.
