Maury Povich and his wife, Connie Chung, are heating things up. Both on the internet and, perhaps, in their bedroom right here under the Big Sky.

The married couple of several decades, both journalism and daytime TV icons, recently debuted a brand-new podcast: On Par with Maury Povich. And the name may reference Maury’s love for golf. But the 20-minute long content? Well, let’s just say that it’s a little more after dark than Meet the Press.

In a recent episode, Connie teases Maury with a question about when he’s the sexiest. His answer? “Sundays.” Her response? “Never on Sunday,” and some cheeky back-and-forth that suggests these two have plenty of spark left in their 40-year marriage.

And here’s the Montana scoop: the couple have a home in Flathead County, outside Bigfork, where they spend a fair amount of time. If the acoustics sound unusually crisp in their podcast, perhaps it’s because they are recording from a lakeside cabin or a cozy mountain hideaway. They haven’t publicly confirmed it yet, but fans are already guessing that the podcast will be straight from their Montana home studio.

Maury says he wants deeper dialogues and sides of himself that people weren’t able to see on TV. With Connie as guest number one, it’s already clear that this will not be your average celebrity podcast. With the intimate convos and the idea of Montana as the podcast’s secret HQ, it’s buzzing local fans.
