When it comes to fair food, I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur. You got your classics, like the funnel cakes and corn dogs. Which are always good standbys. I always feel like a good fair can never have too many meats of sticks. But then you have your walking tacos, your deep fried Oreos, your fried cheese curds. Don't even get me started on the Vikings or the indian tacos.

There is one classic fair food that dates back far beyond the modern county fair. We are talking a fair food that is more of a renaissance faire food. I'm talking about the GIANT turkey legs. Nothing make s you feel more like a caveman, than biting into a food that can also double as a club.

Brett Schreyer, owner of UpNSmokin BBQ House in Stevensville, is bringing the classics renaissance faire food to the Ravalli County Fair. Smoked to perfection, by the award winning pitmaster, these turkey legs are the star of the show at this year fair. Pictures are surfacing all over the web of people attempting to eat turkey legs the size of their heads.
