We're about two weeks into the new year, and there's one question on everyone's minds: "Am I allowed to use any of my vacation days yet?"

Well, you'll probably want to hold off on those for a bit - maybe save them for the summer, when the weather's nice and you can really make the most of that sweet, sweet PTO. When you kick off your shoes and chill by the beach. Maybe you'll read a book. Maybe you'll do absolutely nothing. Ooh, nothing. Yeah, nothing sounds good.

Thrillist put together this list of the top vacation spots in the US to get away from it all - the most relaxing spots in the entire country. And wouldn't you know it, a favorite location here in Montana made the list.

Flathead Lake Is One of the Most Relaxing Spots in the Country

No shocker there - Flathead Lake is a huge, beautiful lake and a beloved spot for Montanans all over the state. And it's so big (the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, in fact) that a lot of the time, you won't even run into anybody else while you're there.

This actually isn't the first time Thrillist has given Flathead Lake the spotlight - they had an article about the joys of island hopping on Flathead just a few months ago.

(Although personally, I'm not sure how relaxing Flathead Lake really is - after all, it is the home of the notorious Flathead Lake Monster.)

Do you agree with Thrillist's take that Flathead is one of the most relaxing vacation spots in the country?
