Since the Pokemon GO game became such a huge sensation a few years ago, game developers are finding other ways to include AR (Augmented Reality) on to people's smart phones. With Halloween on the way, people start looking for ways to get a good scare. Check out the AR game may just let you search for ghosts in your own home.

The game is called "Night Terrors" and it uses the same technology as Pokemon GO. But, instead of searching for Pikachu, you are searching for demons and ghosts. The game actually maps your home and will even send you threatening text messages from another dimension.

According to Indiegogo.com

It's a highly immersive, photorealistic, binaural, AUGMENTED REALITY survival horror game for mobile devices.  Gameplay takes place at home, after dark, with the lights off and your headphones on.

Think about a system that understands where you are in your environment, and is able to exploit that information in order to create an unbelievable augmented reality experience.

What even more terrifying is how hard is it going to be to snap back into reality after you are done playing the game. I have had issues with "re-adjusting" to normal life, after a marathon session of playing virtual reality. But, VR games take place in other worlds and areas. NOT in your home. This game may just make you revert back to your younger years, when you couldnt go into a room without turning every light on.
