Hoobastank Become Ghostbusters

Growing up, I was a bigger fan of the Ghostbusters than Thudercats and the Ninja Turtles combined. The movies were awesome and so was the animated series. One of the first cassettes I ever owned was the soundtrack to the original movie. In short, I was fascinated with paranormal stuff even back then. Fast forward to today and we are gearing up for our annual Ghost Hunt on the University of Montana campus.

You may have heard news of a new Ghostbusters movie in the works. Bill Murray seems to be a be the reason why it hasn't taken off yet. He is reluctant to commit to making another sequel. Personally I think he is just being a "grumpy ol fart."

In a completely unrelated story, Hoobastank recently covered the Ghostbusters theme song. It has been awhile since we have heard anything from Hoobastank. And they randomly come back with this cover and a great video paying homage to the Ghostbusters franchise.
