How to Blow Up a Pumpkin – the Fun Way

Tired of seeing pumpkin spice in coffee, cookies, bubblegum and shoelaces (I'm sure they exist)?  Vent that rage by blowing up a pumpkin!

Before turning our pumpkin into a shower of goo, we decided to visit the pros down at Selway Armory for some Tannerite, which is something we had never heard about before. Of course, we had to play with it... you know, for science. Tannerite is a binary explosive used for rifle targets, but we had to do some modifications on our pumpkin to make it work. Behold:

With everything mixed and ready, all we had to do is shoot the target... with an AR-15 of course.
