Is It Illegal to Offend People on a Montana College Campus?
Offending people has become more and more of an issue over the last decade. It seems like you cannot do anything without offending somebody. But, I never knew that simply being offensive was a crime. If that was the case, I could have a book the size of a dictionary, filled with tickets. A video has recently surfaced online of a campus security officer, writing a ticket to a man, who had allegedly offended someone.
Granted we do not know what the alleged offender did to gather such a complaint, but he does do a great job questioning his first amendment right. Should someone be ticketed for offending someone else? Could this happen on a Montana campus?
