Fun! IWFF in Missoula Kicks Off With WildWalk Parade This Weekend
The anticipation has been building and building for this year's International Wildlife Film Festival, the first time it's been able to be held in person since 2019. And since the festival's back in person, that means all of the festival-adjacent events are back, too - including one of its most beloved traditions!
The 30th Annual WildWalk Parade Will March in Missoula This Weekend
Yes, the WildWalk is back! For those unfamiliar, the WildWalk is a staple of the International Wildlife Film Festival - a parade in which people are encouraged to dress up in their best animal costumes and march through the streets of downtown Missoula!
The WildWalk kicks off at 10:30 AM on Saturday, April 23rd at First Interstate Bank, and everyone is welcome to dress up and join the pack. But the festivities don't end with the parade - the WildWalk ends at the XXXX's on Higgins, and that's where WildFest will take place!
WildFest is a continuation of the fun that will include live music, performances, and food trucks. It'll be going down over at the XXXX's until about 2 PM.
And since Saturday is also the day the actual screenings for IWFF begin, you'll have the option to head straight from WildFest to the Roxy Theater in Missoula to catch the first films of the festival!
