Former Griz Patrick O’Connell Makes His Hard Knocks Debut
This year's HBO Hard Knocks is following the Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks at training camp. It's just a couple of episodes into the season, but we've already seen some of former Griz Patrick O'Connell.
Seahawks Wire says O'Connell was featured in the violence of playing the linebacker and defensive line positions.
"As the episode centers around violence, HBO lets the storylines extrapolate out from the practice in this episode. They start with the one-on-one and 9-on-7 drills, and you can see Hall, Bryce Cabeldue, Mason Richman, Rylie Mills, Uso Seumalo, Mike Morris, Patrick O’Connell, and others getting into shoving matches that need to be separated before turning into actual fights in the first padded practice." - Seahawks Wire

What is HBO Hard Knocks?
Hard Knocks is a television show produced and aired by HBO that follows a training camp of a different NFL team every year. The show originated in 2001 at Baltimore Ravens camp and is in the midst of its 27th season, with its 28th season already planned for Patriots camp.
This is the first time Hard Knocks has solely featured the defending champs. A couple of seasons ago, the Eagles were in a special in-season edition of the show where they covered all four of the NFC East teams.
