Missoula, MT (KGVO-AM News) - On April 8, 2024, at 1:03 AM, a Missoula Police Department Officer was near Winco on Reserve St. when he observed a yellow Hummer, which he knew to be related to a male who often had warrants for his arrest. The officer observed a male standing in the back truck bed area. When he approached the vehicle, the male had left, but a female driver and male backseat passenger remained.

The officer contacted the female driver and informed her who he was looking for. The female told the officer she had not seen that male for an extended period. The female was identified as 27-year-old Tia Gardipee. Gardipee informed the officer that she had a warrant for her arrest and a records check confirmed her statement.

According to the officer, Gardipee appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. She was struggling to sit still and had pinpoint pupils. The officer could also smell the odor of recently smoked fentanyl omitting from the vehicle.

The Officer Continues to Try to Find the Male

The officer continued to speak with Gardipee regarding the male who left the vehicle that he had observed standing in the back. Gardipee stated the male was her brother “Anthony” and that he was inside Winco. Another officer contacted Anthony and his girlfriend inside the store. The two provided false identifying information.

Ultimately, the officer was able to find a valid return for 36-year-old Anthony Enemyhunter. In doing so, the officer received information that an active warrant was issued for Enemyhunter.

The officer informed Enemyhunter that he was under arrest, and Enemyhunter began repeatedly trying to have the officer give his coat to his girlfriend. According to court documents, Enemyhunter confirmed there were Fentanyl pills (about 100 of them) within the coat.

More Drugs are Discovered

The officer who was speaking to Gardipee located a black “PINK” bag in the backseat. Inside the bag was a small zip lock-style baggie containing methamphetamine. In the same pouch where the officer located the methamphetamine, he also located a medical ID card belonging to Gardipee. During the search, the officer found additional pieces of tin foil and two straws with burn residue.

At the conclusion of the search, the officer informed Gardipee of his discovery and asked if she was in possession of any additional drugs. Gardipee told the officer she had purchased “meth” earlier in the night and it was currently wrapped in paper in her bra.

Due to Gardipee’s cooperation, the officer removed her from handcuffs and requested she remove the paper from her bra. Gardipee complied and provided the paper. Inside the paper was a crystalized substance that later tested positive for methamphetamine.

Both Gardipee and Enemyhunter were placed under arrest and transported to the Missoula County Detention Center. Both are currently being charged with felony criminal possession of dangerous drugs. Gardipee’s bail was set at $15,000. Enemyhunter’s bail was set at $50,000.
