Watch Jack White Rip Two ‘Lazaretto’ Songs on ‘Conan’
After making a scorching appearance on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' earlier this week in support of his new album 'Lazaretto', Jack White stopped by 'Conan' last night to play a couple of more laid-back songs.
You can watch him perform 'Temporary Ground' above.
Even though White has shown up twice in the past month on 'The Tonight Show,' including joining Neil Young in cutting a record of Young's performance right there on the spot, White and Conan O'Brien go way back: White was O'Brien's first-ever musical guest.
In addition to 'Temporary Ground,' White and has his band also turned in an equally mellow version of 'Alone in My Home,' performing the song on a couch, which you can watch below.
White sat down for a chat with O'Brien too to talk about all the cool things you can do with the Ultra LP version of his new album, which comes with hidden tracks in the label, audio loops and even a projected hologram of an angel.
He also talked about the White Stripes' eternal earworm 'Seven Nation Army,' which is still crazy popular, even making its way to cruise ships these days. You can watch the interview clips below.
