Kenai Visits KYSS. Please Visit Him at Missoula Humane Society
Maybe you've seen the bumper sticker: If Dogs Could Talk...They Wouldn't Be As Much Fun.
Well, we won't debate the validity of that. Yet, it would be be nice (or maybe very sad) to get this little guy's story first-paw. You do get the impression that whatever home he came from, he likely won't be returning to it. So here is a chance to make his next one a forever home.
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday in our studios this afternoon. The wonderful gals from the Humane Society of Western Montana chose Kenai (KEEN eye) as this Tuesday's featured pet. They don't have too much to go on, other than how he arrived at their doorstep. And best guess estimates have him at around a year old.
This sweet boy was found as a stray by some people in Arlee. The folks who found him did take him in for awhile and made attempts to find his owner, but unfortunately, no one came forward.
Unable to keep him any longer, the finders brought him to the Humane Society, where he immediately charmed his handlers. He has a very gentle demeanor, he is sociable, rides in a car very well and quickly became good pals with some of the other dogs at the shelter. The people that brought him from Arlee concurred, saying he got along very well with their dog, too.
The Humane will use lots of social media for several more days, in hopes that Kenai's owners will step forward. If not, he's yours to adopt.
Two Tuesdays every month, we feature a dog or cat in need of a loving home. Take Me Home Tuesday is presented by Paul's Pancake Parlor, Flanagan Motors Mazda and TrailWest Bank. Please visit the Humane Society of Western Montana when you're ready to make one of their loving pets your own.
