So here we go again. Yellowstone drama, but this time, it’s not just on TV. This just in: Kevin Costner might have gotten a little too angry on the set, and it could be why he dipped out on the show.

Fans eat this stuff up. Critics in Montana? They’ve already got their popcorn.

When the Duttons Encounter Real-World Drama

Costner’s supposed blow-up occurred mainly in a high-impact scene with Wes Bentley, a.k.a. Jaime. Depending on who was telling the story, it heated up, lines got crossed, and there was more than “acting.”

This will come as no surprise to people who have been side-eyeing Yellowstone for some time. It’s always been a division around here. Some locals love the attention and cash flow the show brought to the Bitterroot Valley. Others just want the crew to clear out and for the fans to stop playing cowboy cosplay in Hamilton.

Love It or Hate It, Here’s What Yellowstone Did to Montana

Here’s the rub: if you’re on either side, Yellowstone has transformed this state. Tourists pour in, all wanting to live like a Dutton. They are buying boots, trucks, and land. Some come here to think the TV will be reality, and then suddenly realize you can’t “act” winter out of existence.

The Myth vs. the Mess

For fans, the drama provides another chapter in the Dutton story. Kevin's temper may have gotten out of hand while on the set. Or maybe he was just trying to REALLY amp up the acting and the character's anger.

Yellowstone Actor, Kevin Costner Rents Out 160 Acre Ranch

Kevin Costner recently stated that he would be renting out his Aspen, Colorado home. Don't get me wrong, the "Dunbar Ranch" is beautiful. Sitting on 160 acres of land, the ranch comes with many perks.

You will be able to enjoy fly fishing on the river, a lazy day next to the lake, and a game of baseball on the private baseball field just to list a few of the extra amenities.

Montana has a handful of celebrities that own homes here in Big Sky Country. Is this going to be a new trend among the elite?

For $36,000 per night, you could book a spectacular stay at Costner's Aspen Ranch Home.
