Kromdar Exits Walking Corpse Syndrome, Band is Searching for Replacement

Our hearts are heavy today as one of our all time favorite local guitarists, Ryan Komdar, has announced his departure from Missoula's Walking Corpse Syndrome.

Kromdar has been a long time friend, listener, supporter of the station and is always hilarious when we put him in front of a mic. We hope he will continue to stop by and blow our minds, and of course, we wish him well on his new ventures.

We have some sad news. Ryan Kromdar is going to be leaving Walking Corpse Syndrome. From the man himself:

"I'll be stepping down as a guitarist of Walking Corpse Syndrome and hanging back as a support element in Team Corpsewalker. This band is going places and I'm very proud of my brothers. I'm eager to see what new radness unfolds for WCS in the coming years and will be cheering them on from the sidelines.

"It's not a joyous thing to announce this, and it certainly was not an easy decision, but my personal goals aren't in line with the band's goals at this point in life. WCS is a very driven, tenacious, hardworking band and things are only going to pick up from here. This was an awesome role to fill and I've loved it, but it honestly feels that it's time to pass the torch. Luckily there is no shortage of talented guitarists in our area. Now is a great time to get in if you're hungry. I've met so many badass, awesome people through this band, seen so many cool places, played rad venues, and shared the stage with bands I NEVER imagined I would have had the honor of playing with. It's been a hell of a ride.

"Massively huge Thank You to all you Corpse Walkers, friends, and family for all the love and support. You're all unspeakably rad. I'll see you in the pit.

"May the Corpse be with you. Always."
