Watch Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe Join Mark Morton at First Solo Show
Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton kicked off his first solo show last night (Mar. 13) in support of his debut solo album Anesthetic, which came out March 1. The band's singer Randy Blythe joined Morton onstage during the show in Richmond, Va. for a song from Anesthetic, "The Truth is Dead." Watch a fan video below.
Also joining Morton on the tour are Mark Morales of Sons of Texas on vocals, Doc Coyle of Bad Wolves on guitar, Nick Villarreal of Sons of Texas on bass and Art Cruz of Prong and Winds of Plague on drums. Cruz also filled in on drums for Lamb of God in place of Chris Adler last year. See upcoming tour dates here.
Randy Blythe has been up to some trouble of his own lately, including a protest against the Westboro Baptist Church this past Monday (March 11). The Church plotted a protest against Danica Roem, a transgender woman elected to the Virginia House of Delegates. Blythe's protest was filled with kazoos and costumes.
