Meanwhile in MT: Naked Man Punches Cop and Steals Patrol Car
It is only a matter of time before the popular television show "LIVE PD" starts making regular appearances in Montana. When it comes to crime stories, their never seems to be a dull moment in the Treasure State. It is getting so bizarre that, dare I say, we can almost hole a candle to Florida.
According to MTN News
A Laurel man is behind bars facing assault charges for allegedly punching a Billings police officer, while naked and trying to steal a patrol car.
Randy Wayne Riley, 18, was charged Wednesday with felony assault on a peace officer and three counts of criminal mischief.
According to court documents, Riley was walking down State Street on Billings South Side about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday yelling at passing traffic and half-naked, according to witnesses.
When the police confronted Riley, he assaulted the officer and attempted to jump in the patrol car and drive away. But, not before stripping off his pants in the middle of the street. Needless to say a taser was involved and Riley was soon "cuffed and stuffed" into the back of the patrol car.
