If you haven't already heard, the latest hit drama on television takes place right here in Montana. The show "Big Sky" premiered last night with mixed reviews.

According to TIME, television drama "Big Sky" is:

a polished, sophisticated, boundary-pushing prestige thriller of the kind that major networks almost never make anymore. Adapted from a series of novels by C.J. Box, it’s a lightning-paced crime story from the sought-after creator David E. Kelley, who was known for broadcast blockbusters like Chicago Hope and Ally McBeal before he was known for Big Little Lies

Lot of the reviews from the premiere are saying that the series is lacking a little from what creator David E. Kelley is known for. But, those reviews are probably from super fans that were expecting their minds to be blown after just one episode. Regardless, the series has some potential and is an interesting perspective of small town life in Montana.

Even the Montana Highway Patrol is getting in on the buzz from the new series. According to their Facebook post:

It was brought to our attention yesterday, that there is a new TV show called "Big Sky" debuting tonight on ABC that features a character who is a Montana Highway Patrol Trooper (pic below).
We've received some questions on how accurately the show portrays our uniform and, judging by this photo, it looks pretty spot on. There are, however, two very small details that they got wrong. Can you find them? We'll mail a patch to the first person who correctly identifies one or both discrepancies. Note- MHP employees are excluded from this contest. Good luck!
