Missoula Bare Knuckle Fighter is Ready to Fight in Knuckle Mania

This is a BIG DEAL! Missoula's own, Sawyer Depee. is heading to Hollywood, Florida to fight in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship circuit. Depee landed a spot on a high-profile fight card. Which could launch his career even further into professional fighting. Sawyer Deppe is scheduled to take on UFC standout, and #3 world-ranked Ulysses Diaz.

Ulysses Diaz is a 40-year-old fighter from Miami, Florida. Diaz was born in Cuba and has spent most of his fighting career boxing. He currently has a boxing record of 12 wins and 1 loss. Only recently has Diaz taken off the gloves and began fighting in bare-knuckle fights.

According to MMA News

Diaz, the fiance of WWE star Dana Brooke, was arrested by Miami-Dade police on a battery charge and is being held on a $5,000 bond. According to the police report, Diaz showed up at the home of someone who was harassing him on social media and punched him in the mouth upon arrival.

Hats off to Diaz for doing what we all wish we could do to internet bullies. But, we are rooting for the Montana boy!

I have seen Sawyer Depee fight. HE IS A BEAST! He is cool and calculated in the ring. From his years of training with Missoula's Dog Pound Fight Team, plus his time spent in the MMA ring, Depee is a force to be reckoned with.

In an interview with 406 MT Sports, Depee said

"Being the underdog, I have something to prove. I feel like I'm ready just from past experience. I've trained with some of the best from around the state and I'm ready to take that next level up."
