Missoula Community Theater Offers ‘Elf the Musical’ Stream for $5
We're right in the sweet spot of the holiday season - the time where our favorite Christmas movies make their yearly appearance. One of the most popular movies this time of year has to be Elf. Maybe it won't rank as high for some if they're looking for more traditional Christmas movies - but it's definitely on the top 5 list for any fan of comedy themed Christmas movies.
Even if you're not familiar with Elf, you might not know it but you've probably heard people quoting the movie. Buddy the Elf has taught us so much about life. He's shown us the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. He introduced us all to the four main food groups for elves. And it seems nobody can mention Santa without someone saying "I know him" in their best Will Ferrell impression.
As a holiday treat for us all, the Missoula Community Theater is going into their vault and making public their performance of Elf the Musical from 2018. The show played to sold out audiences that year but can now be enjoyed online by everyone for just $5.
It's been a rough year all around. The money made from virtual showings isn't going to offset the hit that MCT has taken this year - but every bit helps and it's a great way for the community to show their support. This KPAX article describes how Montana Community Theater was able to offer the performance of Elf the Musical to be streamed.
The show is available to enjoy until December 30th. Purchase your digital viewing tickets HERE.
