Missoula Police Investigating Two Early Monday Morning Incidents – Sexual Assault on Sunday Morning
Missoula police are investigating an assault that occurred in the area of the Shopko store at South and Reserve early Monday morning.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
Another incident was reported just before 3:00 a.m. when authorities were called to investigate a burglary in progress at a storage facility on South Russell Street. One suspect was take into custody, and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of an unspecified injury.
Sergeant Jerry Odlin with the Missoula Police Department also provided information about a sexual assault that was reported early Sunday morning. Odlin said the incident allegedly occurred in the alley near 100 West Front Street in downtown Missoula. He said a suspect is in custody on a separate offense, and no charges have yet been filed in the sexual assault.
