Missoula Woman Founds Soap Company, Cuts Down On Waste
Now this is really cool. A local woman has found success across Western Montana, thanks to her idea to create a healthy alternative to big-brand soaps.
KPAX brings attention to Keli Lake, the founder of Keligreen Soaps, which came around after she discovered that her son was allergic to most major soap brands. So, she created her own soap, emphasizing safety, accessibility, and no waste.
Lake was actually offered a lot of money to create a more sustainable model but turned it down, as her number one priority is to create as little waste as possible. The current system has buyers buying and refilling their soap jugs at about 25 locations all over western Montana.
Lake has created a more environmentally-conscious soap that's actually healthier for people. How cool is that? Have you ever gotten Keligreen Soaps?
