Good news and bad news out of Walking Corpse Syndrome camp this morning.

The guys in WCS released their video for "The Individualist" this week. Directed by Kromdar, it's typical of the band in that it makes you laugh and rocks your face off at the same time. In addition, they've captioned the lyrics, which we found to be quite helpful.

You can get a free, yes FREE because that's how WCS rolls, here.

That's clearly the good news. The sad news is that Sludge is leaving the band. Where the Hell are they gonna' find a replacement who can rock the bass AND the violin?

From the official Walking Corpse Syndrome Facebook page:

Our good friend William “Sludge” Saylor will be quitting Walking Corpse Syndrome. We wish him the best of luck as he pursues other opportunities. This is especially hard to announce since Bill and his unique bass and violin parts have been an integral part of the band since our very first show in April 2007.

His last show will be November 23 at the Top Hat in Missoula Montana, after which we will immediately begin holding auditions to find our next bassist. We don't anticipate being able to find a bassist who also plays violin, so this next show will probably be our last one to feature violin.

We understand that this will inevitably change the dynamic of the band, but we hope that you will stay with us as we travel down this musical path. We hope to see you all on November 23 so we can give Bill a proper send off.

We wish Bill the best of luck, we're sad to see him go. See you Saturday, November 23rd at The Top Hat for High Voltage, The Fail Safe Project & Walking Corpse Syndrome. 21+ and NO COVER, because once again, that's how WCS rolls.

Hear these bands and more this Sunday, and every Sunday at 5 p.m., with JC on Local 406.
