Montana Drag Wrestling’s Halloween Throwdown

What light rapping, tapping at thy chamber door? It’s not the wind. It’s Montana Drag Wrestling. Halloween MDW is pulling into Missoula with just the kind of crazy you can rely on from ZACC. This Saturday, October 25th, the drag wrestling universe steps into the squared circle for “Bumps In The Night,” and like all good sequels, this one looks set to be even more insane than before.

Doors open at 7:30, the show starts at 8, and it’s strictly 18 and up. Costumes are not required, but a sense of humor is.

A Coffin Match and Pure Drama

This Halloween, Sister Midnight refuses to let her opponent, Referee Kliph Stickler, keep her down and is entering a coffin match as his drag identity, KT Wrath. If Sister Midnight comes in and wins, there’s a “punishment the likes of which you’ve never heard” waiting for him. It’s Halloween, so you gotta know it’s gonna get spooky.

Ace of Hearts returns to defend the Lip Sync champion title against Bozemanite Rex Pistols.

The Art of Trash Talk in Pro Wrestling

My favorite part of the whole thing isn’t even the matches. It’s the Trash Talk videos they’ve been sharing on their Facebook page. These promos have a very old-school WWE feel about them. I’m talking big energy. Hulk Hogan and Macho Man Randy Savage vibes. Everyone’s in character. There’s shouting, there’s glitter, and it’s just right.

The MAIN EVENT: Margaret Murder vs. Leanne Danger

The headline is going to get ugly in a good way. Margaret Murder has to defend her title against THE BRIDE Leanne Danger.  Will Margaret even get to the show in her Subaru? One way or the other, someone’s getting bodyslammed in a scary pile of glory.

There will be special guest performances, lots of glitter, and enough mayhem to make the building shake. This is Missoula at its best: crazy, noisy, and slightly unhinged.
