Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Share Statistics on Montana Archery Hunting
Unfortunately, my attempt to fill my elk tag with my archery equipment, was unsuccessful this past weekend. As I have learned in my years of bowhunting, only about ten percent of all the archery hunters are successful. Not because there is a lack of animals this time of year, but because it takes a lot more skill than just pulling a trigger. Ron Ashiem, of the Montana FWP, recently shared some interesting facts about archery numbers in the state of Montana.
