Montana is About to Ban Flavored Vaping Products Statewide

Recently, the federal government announced that they would likely place a ban on most flavored vaping products after an increasing number of health concerns and reported illnesses have come up over the last few months. But, that ban doesn't appear to be moving quickly enough for Montana governor Steve Bullock, who has decided to place a statewide ban on the sale of flavored vaping products and e-cigarettes that will go into effect on October 22nd.

Bullock actually criticized the government for their slow action on the subject and took note of the increasing number of young people who have turned to vaping and e-cigarettes within the last few years. While many people vape as an alternative to smoking cigarettes, health officials have long had concerns over the long-term effects that vaping might have.

I was attending college in New York when vaping first started to become a popular trend, and I know plenty of people who have been vaping for years now. New York actually attempted its own vaping ban but it's been temporarily blocked by a state court.
