As of Friday morning, Montana has confirmed 4,757 positive COVID-19 cases. Montana's COVID-19 case tracking map shows 155 new confirmed cases. There are currently 1,565 active cases in the state.

Montana reported 857 new cases last week and 826 the week before. There have been 585 new cases in the past five days.

Missoula County has had a total of 318 confirmed cases and 94 cases are currently active.

According to state statistics, 3,122 Montana residents have recovered from COVID-19 and there are currently 84 people hospitalized.

The number of tests increased by 1,941 over the previous 24-hour reporting period, for a new cumulative state-wide total of 187,756.

The cumulative number of deaths in Montana is now 70. Five new deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. Since July 8, 2020, there have been 47 COVID-19 related deaths in the state.
