Missoula Food Drive Trades Donations for Court Fine Credits

If you have found yourself in a little bit of trouble with the Missoula Municipal Court, you can now clean out your pantry and trade your old cans of green beans for credit towards your court fines.
The Missoula Public Library and Missoula Municipal Court are teaming up to support a campaign known as "Project Community Connect." An annual event that hasn't happened since 2020 is returning for its 15th year.
"Project Community Connect" is simply a day when anyone who needs access to certain services can get them for free at the public library. Everything from medical care to haircuts and even hot food.
Between now and March 26th, for every donation of non-perishable food you make to "Project Community Connect," you can knock off $10 from whatever court fees you may have with the Missoula Municipal Court. With a maximum credit of $200 (20 items).
All donations will be distributed during the FREE event happening March 27th from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Missoula Public Library.
"Project Community Connect" is looking for volunteers to help with this amazing event. If you have been looking to volunteer your time for a great cause, learn more about how you can help by visiting the PCC website.
