It is WILD to think that is was 1 year ago when the COVID 19 pandemic officially cancelled St. Patrick's day. Hundreds of gallons of green beer went un-drank. And, millions of Americans did not get there annual "pinch" for not wearing green. Fast forward one year later, and the light at this very long pandemic tunnel can be seen. Even though the pandemic is still lingering, does not mean we cannot celebrate one of our all time favorite holidays. With more and more Montanans getting vaccinated and positive cases of COVID 19 dropping, we are slowly seeing businesses open back up and even live performances taking place again. But, until we are free of the clutches of the pandemic, it is wise to play it safe.

It is time to bust out your shillelagh and throw on your green outfit. As the Friends of Irish Studies are set to host a virtual St. Patrick's Day celebration.  This Facebook LIVE event is free, and will feature traditional Irish song, dance and music for your St. Patrick's day celebration. All performed LIVE from Montana.

Simply register for FREE at the Friends of Irish Studies eventbrite page, or find the LIVE stream on Facebook, starting tomorrow (3/17) at NOON. The virtual concert will run all the way until 2pm.

Also, it is not too late for you to take advantage of the annual Friends of Irish Studies raffle. The purchase of one raffle ticket could land you and a friend a trip to the Emerald Isle. With airfare, car rental and $1500 spending cash included.
