Montana’s ‘Monstrosity’: UM Building Crowned Ugliest in the State

I have seen some interesting architecture. Like the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle. Whoever designed that thing must have been inspired by simply chewing an entire package of gum and spitting it on the ground. The entire building looks like a float in a Mardi Gra parade.

It just so happens that the "Museum of Pop Culture" made the list of ugliest buildings in America.

The website travel.alot.com ranked the ugliest buildings in every state.

There is plenty of breathtaking architecture to be found in the United States, but unfortunately, every building can't be a winner. When it comes to questionable buildings, we've got everything from the depressingly boring to the truly bonkers.

Today, we're taking a look at the most questionable building that each state has to offer.

Montana's "ugliest building" may surprise you. As there are plenty of eyesores across the state. But, according to travel.alot.com, the ugliest building in Montana is located on the University of Montana campus.

Ranking as the 45th ugliest in the country: The Health Sciences Building at the University of Montana.

This building looks like a pile of the most boring children’s blocks ever. What are they thinking up in Montana?

The department seems to be thriving, so that's good at least--you can never have enough health sciences. But it's just unfortunate for all those students who have to make their way into this ugly building, day after day, semester after semester.

I can tell you that Billings is full of buildings that make the Health Sciences building look like the Taj Mahal.
