Our (Endless) Holiday Debate – Is ‘Die Hard’ a Christmas Movie?

The debate has been going on for years: is 'Die Hard' a Christmas movie? You might say, "just because the movie takes place at Christmastime, that doesn't make it a Christmas movie." But if that's the case, why do 97% of people surveyed say 'Home Alone' is a Christmas movie? That one's a movie about home invasion that happens to take place at Christmastime.
