Police and Sheriff’s Deputies Search for Missing Missoula Man
Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Jeannette Smith issued a press release early Tuesday afternoon regarding the search of a missing Missoula man.
‘Taylor Simonson, who was reported missing to City of Missoula Police Department, was last seen the morning of October 12, at around 9:30 a.m. and was thought to be on Blue Mountain/Big Flat road.
Detectives from both City of Missoula Police Department and Missoula County Sheriff’s Office are collaboratively seeking information regarding Taylor’s whereabouts.
Taylor is 38 years of age and described as 185 lbs, 5’10” with brown hair and blue eyes. He was driving a 2012 Chevy Silverado with heavy rear bumper damage. He may be wearing a black Carhartt jacket.
An area of interest has been identified and can be described as Fish Creek Road access from I-90 to Highway 12, Highway 12 to Blue Mountain/Big Flat roads, Southside Road to Petty Creek and back to the I-90 Fish Creek Road intersection.
Missoula County Search and Rescue is currently in the area of interest and searching known areas of travel.
The City of Missoula Police Department and Missoula County Sheriff’s Deputies requests all those recreating or hunting in the area to be vigilant and report any information regarding Taylor, his vehicle and possible location.
