Rancid, Bad Religion + Pennywise Lead 2018 Scallywag! Festival
Aye, matey, the Scallywag! Festival is back for 2018. Now entering its third year of operation, fans will have a chance to enjoy a day of rock, craft beer and food at Scallywag! Festival events in a variety of cities. San Diego, Denver, Austin, Auburn and Boise will play host to Scallywag! festivals this year, with punk and ska acts leading the way.
The lineup varies depending on location, but Rancid, Bad Religion and Pennywise appear to be leading the festivities, with acts like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Hepcat, Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, the Interrupters, Mad Caddies and more performing. You can check out the various lineups below.
The fun starts Saturday, Sept. 22 at Denver's Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre with a bill that includes Rancid, Pennywise, Bad Religion, the Interrupters, Mad Caddies and more. Austin's Austin360 Amphitheatre will host the Scallywag! Festival on Sept. 23, featuring Rancid, Bad Religion, Pennywise, The Interrupters and more.
During the following weekend, Scallywag! will hit Auburn, Wash. at the White River Amphitheatre on Sept. 29 and Boise, Idaho's CenturyLink Grove Plaz on Sept. 30. The Auburn show has Bad Religion, Pennywise, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, the Interrupters and more, while the same bands will also turn up the following day in Boise.
Finishing out this year's Scallywag! run will be a performance in the home base of Scallywag during its first two years -- San Diego -- with a performance at Waterfront Park on Oct. 20. Rancid, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Hepcat, Less Than Jake, The Interrupters and Beach Goons are all expected to play.
