Ready to Party? Glitz and Glam at the Dram Shop on New Year’s Eve

Last year, New Year's Eve was a pretty low-key affair for me (and, I'm guessing, for most people). After nearly a year into the pandemic and in a pre-vaccine world, we weren't going out and partying like we might normally do. Our New Year's consisted of putting a party hat on our cat and watching the socially-distanced ball drop on TV. It was exciting stuff.

This year, you can safely bet that more events will be happening around town and more people will be going out as a result. Arts Missoula's First Night events are still going strong, the Lil Smokies are set to do their annual New Year's Eve show at the Wilma, and now you can add a pretty cool event at the Dram Shop to your list of potential things to do.

The Dram Shop location by the Southgate Mall is teaming up with Riversong Gourmet for a formal five-course wine dinner on New Year's Eve. They're calling it "Glitz & Glam at the Dram."

Each dish in the dinner will be paired with a different wine - or, if you'd rather, you can switch it up and choose beer pairings instead.

Seating is limited and tickets will run you $120, which you can purchase in advance at the Dram Shop's website. The event goes until midnight and includes dinner, dancing, and live music from One Night Only.
