Roxy Theater in Missoula is Bringing Back its Volunteer Program
It's been a long road for The Roxy Theater over the last couple of years - they officially reopened their doors in June 2021 after an extended hiatus due to COVID... in which time they still managed to connect with the Missoula community with private rentals, Centerfield Cinema at Ogren Park, and the opening of The Roxy Garden.
And since they've reopened, things have been slowly going back to normal - both the Montana Film Festival and the International Wildlife Film Festival were able to happen in person, all of the theater's special monthly programming has returned, and audiences have been turning out in droves for new movies like Dune, CODA, and Everything Everywhere All at Once.
But there was one aspect of The Roxy Theater that still hadn't made its way back... until now.
The Roxy Theater is Bringing Back its Volunteer Program
In the pre-COVID days at the Roxy, their volunteer program was one of its most popular features - volunteers could come by and lend an extra hand to the nonprofit theater, and in exchange, they'd get a pass for a free movie at the end of their shift. It's a win-win!
In a post-COVID world, the theater was exercising caution when it came to bringing more people in. Now that they've been re-open for almost a year, it seems the time was right for them to officially bring back the volunteer program.
You can find the info you need on their Facebook page - if you'd like to volunteer at the Roxy, all you have to do is email volunteer@theroxytheater.org and they'll be in touch!
