Veteran rockers Soil and Saving Abel will hit the road this fall for the aptly titled "Redneck Rebellion Tour," with the bands co-headlining and rotating slots throughout the tour. Both acts will perform full sets, while the Rebellion openers will be Kirra.

"We've had a blast hanging with the Saving Abel guys on various one-off dates and festivals," said SOiL bassist Tim King. "It was definitely time that we combined forces and took the madness on the road."

Saving Abel guitarist Scott Bartlett added, "We've been asked for years why we don't play shows with Soil. We know their music, we run in the same circles. We recently did a gig with them and it turns out they're like-minded, laid back and rock and roll degenerates just like us. Get ready for the Redneck Rebellion!"

The tour will kick off Sept. 22 in Flint, Mich. and will wind through the Midwest before coming to an end Oct. 14 in Battle Creek, Mich.

Soil’s last album, Whole, was released in 2013. No details on their upcoming album as of yet, but the band promises to make an announcement soon. Saving Abel, meanwhile, released their last album Blood Stained Revolution in 2014 and are currently on the road. See Saving Abel’s tour dates here.
