When the pandemic first hit, everything went dark. Entire tours were canceled and not a single artist was on the road performing live. The concert scene was a ghost town. Just like the saying "you don't know what you got until it's gone," we soon realized our dependence on live music, especially when it comes to our mental health. After months of waiting, some artists were willing to venture back out on the road delivering our much-needed fix for live music. One of those artists was the talented Marc Rizzo of Soulfly. Marc embarked on a solo tour where he would team up with local artists for a kick-ass metal show.

Well, it appears that Marc has returned and he is bringing along a posse. This time Marc will be performing alongside Tony Campos of Static X and Fear Factory, and "Opus" Lawrence of Dead by Wednesday.

According to the Hail The Horns website, Opus says.

We’re looking at this as our own little “metal allegiance” type thing, but as a trio! Less is more sometimes!! If other things develop or happen from that, then that’s cool too… we’re not putting any expectations onto it. We just want to have some fun & rock some cool tunes together for other people’s enjoyment, and our own, that’s all!!

The Hail The Horns show was originally happening this past fall. It had to be rescheduled and is set to take place this Saturday 1/22 at the Dark Horse. With local support from our friends Ceres and Blessiddoom, this show is guaranteed to have you on your feet.

Tickets are $19 and available to purchase here, or $25 at the door.
