Summer 23 Backyard Cornhole Tournament in Florence is a Big Deal
The Backyard Tap House in Florence takes its cornhole seriously. After recently remodeling a new patio area, they have themselves a proper arena for a serious sporting event. This is why they are planning on a BIG cornhole tournament this summer.
For someone who has never seen a cornhole game, it almost looks like a group of people are training to win a giant stuffed bear at a carnival. But, the game of cornhole takes some serious skill. It has even grown so large that it has its very own professional competitive league.
According to Wikipedia
Cornhole (also known regionally as bags, sack toss, or bean bag toss) is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing 16 ounce bags of corn kernels at a raised platform (board) with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the board scores 1 point. Play continues until a team or player reaches or exceeds the score of 21 by means of cancellation scoring.
You got a few weeks to train for an upcoming tournament right here in western Montana. It may not be a part of the American Cornhole League, but it is going to be fun.
