Summer Side Gig? Yellowstone TV Show Seeks Extras Now!
It has been so long since I have seen a new episode of "Yellowstone," that I almost forgot what it is about. However, I do know that they are currently filming new episodes in the Missoula area.
Paramount is back in western Montana to film the remainder of season 5 of "Yellowstone." Plenty of filming has been done at the "Chief Joseph Ranch" in Darby this Spring. They even shut down the streets around the Missoula County Courthouse to film.
There are lots of moving parts in the television show machine. One of them is the people in the background of the shot. Otherwise known as "extras."
"Yellowstone" Casting Company is Seeking Extras for Tuesday, June 25th in Missoula
According to a post on Facebook from the Yellowstone Extras Casting page, they are looking for men who are media types/newspaper reporters or field reporters. Ages 21-45.
Pay for the gig isn't terrible, as the casting company is offering $145 per day plus a $40 gas bump.
If you are considering becoming an extra on the show, just know that there is a lot of downtime. You are expected to be there all day, even if you only film for a couple of minutes.
Even if you don't meet the requirements for the current casting call, it never hurts to submit your application in hopes of being in a different scene.
- In your submission: Make sure to include a current picture of you!
- First and Last Name
- Height and weight
- Cell Phone Number
- City you live in
- Must live in Montana*
