By late Monday morning, there were at least 2 dozen incidents on Montana highways that required Highway Patrol to be dispatched. Snow covered roads and low visibility guarantees there will be at least more slide-offs before days end.
The Montana Department of Transportation road report states that there was an accident on I-90 just east of Missoula, and that chains are now required over Lookout Pass, with intermittent ice and snow on highways throughput western Montana
