There Wasn’t as Big Of a Line For the New Super Nintendo Classic as This News Team Thought There Would Be
Retro games are huge these days. What's old is new again. Earlier this year, Nintendo released the NES Classic, which was a miniature version of their classic console, with a bunch of games built right in. No more game cartridges or blowing on the games to get them to work!
Following up on the success of the NES Classic, Nintendo just released the Super Nintendo Classic, but as you'll see in the news story below, the reaction from consumers wasn't quite the same!
One news station sent a reporter out to a local Best Buy to interview people who were waiting in line to buy the new console. Unfortunately, there were only two people hanging around the front of the store, and it's not even clear if they were there for the Super Nintendo Classic or not! The reporters, as well as the anchors back in the studio, sure got a big laugh about the whole situation!
