Tater Tots, Metal, and Mayhem Return to Missoula

Some festivals have flower crowns. TOTFest has headbanging, hot dish, and molten cheese burns you’ll brag about for weeks.

We’re talking 20 bands. Two stages. One noble purpose: to melt your face with rock and drown you in tater tot awesomeness. 96.3 The Blaze is a proud sponsor of this glorious mess of metal and taters, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

The TOTFest 2025 lineup comes smashing into Missoula harder than your aunt’s cast iron casserole pan. You’ll get to check out Blessiddoom, Ceres, In Your Grave, Dragged Out, When Darkness Falls, Devilution, and a whole lot more. If you like it fast and not-so-stable, this is your jam.

And if you’re in it for the tots (respect), the Tater Tot Casserole Competition is back, along with the Tot Eating Contest for the brave souls who can stomach a tray of molten starch. Oh, and did we mention Odd Pitch Brewing is bringing back their original Heavy Metal Hot Dish Light Lager? It’s a beer brewed for banging your head and blowing your palate clear off.

This year, TOTFest is supporting a cause close to home: Camp Mak-A-Dream, which helps kids and families affected by cancer. So yes, you can mosh and do good.

It all goes down on Saturday, August 16th, at the Dark Horse at 1805 Regent in Missoula. $20 at totfest.org gets you through the gates. 21+ only, and yes, there are VIP packages if you want the royal treatment, aka more beer access and less bathroom panic.
