The Culpepper and Meriweather Circus has announced a pair of shows in Stevensville on Tuesday, June 18th.

Judging by their website, it looks like this will be a traditional, family friendly and affordable circus. The Big top will be set up at the Community Center property at the corner of Middle Burnt Fork Road and Park Avenue for shows at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Advance tickets are $12 for adults, $7 for kids 2-12 y.o. & seniors 65+. Day of show tickets will be $15 and $8.

Tickets are available at Farmers State Bank in Hamilton, Victor, Stevensville & Florence; also in Stevensville at Valley Drug, Super 1 Foods, Burnt Fork Market, Rocky Mountain Bank, and the Stevensville Main Street Association office at 102B Main, right between the DMV and Veterans’ Park. You can also buy online here. Only tickets purchased prior to the day of the shows are discounted.

At 9:30 a.m. on the 18th, the Circus invites the public to the raising of the Big Top at the lots at the corner of Middle Burnt Fork Road and Park Avenue. Spectators may tour the circus grounds to meet the performers and the animals. Questions will be cheerfully answered for all curious circus and animal fans. Larger groups such as daycare and eldercare facilities are very welcome, but directors should contact 580-326-8833 to arrange a plan for the group to be efficiently guided and to allow for any special needs.

An hour before showtimes, kids can enjoy bouncy houses, a 22 foot slide, pony rides, a concession stand and face painting. Cash is accepted at each attraction.

The action-packed 90-minute show by the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus has something for everyone! Acts feature performers from the USA, Canada and Mexico—acrobats, animals, comedy and balancing acts, The show is designed to be affordable, family-friendly, and truly enjoyable for children of all ages.

A coloring contest for children ages 7 and younger and another for kids 8-11 will give kids a chance to win prizes the day of the show. Look for color sheets at the Stevensville ticket locations or print your own from the circus website.
