How, exactly, do you categorize the death of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez?

That's a very tough question.

Hernandez was pronounced dead Wednesday morning after officials in the prison where he was serving a life sentence for murder.

While his death is being ruled a suicide, Hernandez's former agent threw some serious doubt into the matter:

Naturally, the twittersphere has been buzzing as the news broke that Hernandez has died. And the opinions run the gamut, from sympathy to smug satisfaction to humor, shining a light on just how complex this matter truly is. The word "tragedy" has come up a lot in this story -- whether to describe what happened to Odin Lloyd -- the man he was found guilty of murdering -- Hernandez's family, which includes a four-year-old daughter or Hernandez himself, whose talent on the football field was obscured by legal troubles.

So, how do you characterize Hernandez's death? While you ponder that, check out some tweets below.
