Time to charge the batteries in your light saber, because we are gearing up for a good time at the Dark Horse in Missoula.

The annual Star Wars Day metal concert is happening this Saturday night. This party is one you won't want to miss. Not only do you get LIVE music from 3 amazing local bands. But, you also get to be involved in a Star Wars costume contest. As well as a ton of other games inspired by the movie franchise.

I have fond memories of the day I had family visiting for the weekend. I took them to the Star Wars party. Before I knew it, I was dressed up in an inflatable Jaba the Hut costume watching my older brother have a light saver fight with his son-in-law. All while chugging a tall boy of beer. Before I knew it, some guy dressed like an X-Wing pilot was buying me a Darth Vader "Mind Eraser" shot as we jammed to the heavy metal interpretation of the Imperial Death March. Good times indeed.

Dress like a shaved wookie or your favorite Jedi, and make your way down to the Dark Horse this Saturday, May 4th. Doors are at 7 PM with the show starting at 8 PM.
