18,000 Missoulians were without power on Monday night and some continue to be without today. Following the storm last night which produced category 1 Hurricane winds, here are some reminders from NorthWestern Energy.
On Monday night, the Missoula area was hit with one of the most violent (and quickest) storms in recent memory. According to NBC Montana, nearly 18,000 people were without power. Once the storm let up, we drove around some of the busier intersections with our hands-free recording device to take a look around.
Personally, I'm a huge Missoula fan. Lived here on and off again for nearly 12 years. Long enough to be quite partial all the while surpised that we did not crack the top ten in this "livability" list.
