Horns Up! Volbeat + Halestorm Blaze BBQ Bash Live Set Photo’s

Volbeat and Halestorm recently headlined our Blaze Backyard BBQ. We're still in awe. The crowd and bands were simply amazing. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect lineup for some of the best rock fans in the nation.

The week started on Sunday in the blistering heat with our first Backyard BBQ show featuring In This Moment, From Ashes To New, Fit For A King, and Motionless In White. You guys braved the 100-degree weather and killed it! The question remained after the show "Is Missoula Partied Out"? Absolutely not. If anything this was just the appetizer to what would become one of the biggest and best Blaze events we've ever thrown, and it's all because of you, Missoula!

To give you a little history, both of these bands have deep ties to the Blaze and Missoula. We sold out Volbeat on their first American tour back in 2011. Halestorm played our Birthday Bash in 2009. They pulled up in an RV straight out of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. Lzzy's mom was out in the rain selling demo CDs. These bands are honorary Missoulians.

Who remembers Lzzy saying that Missoula is one of their favorite place to play and she wants to retire here? She's not kidding.

Both of these groups have always been so great to us. Granting the Blaze interviews, and photo opportunities, and giving our listeners meet and greets. Volbeat even featured the recent interview with Michael Poulsen and his new band "ASINHELL" on their official Facebook and Instagram. It's been such an incredible ride with Volbeat and Halestorm, and we aren't slowing down anytime soon.
